SUN SOIL was the name of the idea that inspired the Greengineering think-tank at Newton North HS. Sun Soil was a play on the words SUN and OIL and SOIL - as in biodiesel is the sun's oil. And it will take the sun and the soil to save the human species on earth.
So our biodiesel project - recycling waste vegetable grease into transportation fuel and home heating oil - is only the first step of designing solutions to work in concert with the earth and with local economies.
